Mobile car lockouts, key replacement and fob programming in Bonita, 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM, every day.
Every day, 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM
Bonita is an unincorporated community between Chula Vista and National City, with horse properties, long driveways, and a quieter pace than either neighbor. A car locksmith in Bonita spends more time in driveways and at trailheads than in parking garages. We come to the house, the park lot, the golf club or the curb on Bonita Road, and we do the whole job at the car.
The Sweetwater Valley shapes everything here. Rohr Park and Sweetwater Summit Regional Park bring riders, runners and campers who leave a key somewhere on the trail. Bonita Road and the shopping centers along it see the usual lockouts and lost fobs. The horse properties on the hills have two or three vehicles and a truck that has been on one key for years. We handle all of it on site.
Bonita for us is the Sweetwater Valley between Chula Vista and National City, from the State Route 54 end of Bonita Road out past Sweetwater Summit. Bonita Road is the main street, with Bonita Village and the Bonita Plaza shopping centers along it, and Sweetwater Road follows the valley past Rohr Park, the golf club and the regional park. The hillside streets on both sides hold horse properties, ranch-style houses and long driveways. Plaza Bonita is nearby but sits in National City. We work in driveways, at trailheads, in park and clubhouse lots, and in the strip centers along Bonita Road.
The horse is back in the trailer, the tack is in the truck, and the truck key is on the dash behind a locked door. The staging area empties as the light goes and the park closes in the evening. We come out Sweetwater Road, open the truck without a mark, and you are on the road before the gate shuts.
A ranch truck that has been on one key since it was bought, a long driveway, and a second driver who needs it at feeding time. We drive up to the barn, cut and program a spare at the truck, and if the old key has worn thin we cut the new one from code so it does not copy the wear.
A used car bought from a neighbor came with a key someone had copied at a hardware counter. It opens the door, turns the ignition, and the engine cranks and dies outside a shopping center on Bonita Road. That is a missing transponder chip. We program a proper chipped key at the space, and the plain copy stays as a door key.
Give us the address and where the vehicle sits; on a horse property that may be up by the barn rather than at the house, and the gate code saves a trip back down the driveway. On Bonita Road, name the shopping center and the store. At Rohr Park, the lot or the nearest field; at the golf club, the clubhouse lot. For Sweetwater Summit and the reservoir trails, name the staging area or trailhead, and call before the park closes. The valley is dark at night, so put the hazards on.
The places locals call from most, and what usually goes wrong there.
Bonita calls are mostly duplicate car keys for households with more vehicles than keys, car lockouts at the parks and on Bonita Road, and car key replacement for keys lost on a trail or a fairway. We program transponder keys for trucks that came with one chipped key and a plain copy, and handle ignition repair when a ranch truck's key will not turn.

How it worksYes. Give us the address and the gate code if there is one, and tell us where the vehicle sits on the property. We come to it rather than have you drive the only key down to the road.
Neither. It is an unincorporated community between the two, and we serve it on its own, the same way: at the car, with the price quoted before we leave Coronado.
